He served as a lecturer in 2006, was promoted to associate professor in 2009, was hired as a professor in 2011, and was hired as a doctoral supervisor in 2012. As a visiting scholar of Queen Mary, University of London in the UK from October 2012 to October 2013 and December 2016 to January 2017. He was selected as the second level of the Dayu Scholar Program, the outstanding backbone teacher of the Jiangsu Qinglan Project, and the winner of Huo Yingdong Young Teacher Fund. Member of the Executive Committee of the 8th Annual Meeting of Young Scientists of Jiangsu Provincial Association of Science and Technology, member of the Professional Committee of Numerical Simulation of China Society of Dam Engineering, member of the Professional Committee of Seismic and Disaster Prevention of China Society of Hydropower Engineering, member of the 7th Board of Directors of Jiangsu Provincial Vibration Engineering Society, and member and Deputy Secretary-General of the 7th Board of Directors of Jiangsu Provincial Society of Hydropower Engineering.
The main research direction is fluid-structure coupling analysis of hydraulic engineering, rock and soil. The basic framework and parallel numerical algorithm of fluid-structure coupling theory of continuous-discontinuous medium in hydraulic and geotechnical engineering are constructed, and a large-scale parallel numerical simulation platform of fluid-structure coupling of continuous-discontinuous medium integrating finite element, discrete element and computational fluid mechanics is developed, which is applied to the evaluation of geological hazard chain of landslide and surge in reservoir bank of water conservancy and hydropower engineering, the whole process simulation of fluid-structure coupling of offshore wind power integration Research on flow-induced vibration of hydraulic structures. Presided over 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 2 national key research and development plan projects and 1 national 863 project sub-project. He has published more than 150 papers, including 55 SCI searches (35 first/corresponding authors) and more than 60 EI searches. He has published 3 monographs, 18 authorized invention patents and 4 software copyrights. He won one second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (2020), two provincial and ministerial special prizes (20162018) and two first prizes (20112020). We have trained 56 master students and 15 doctoral students, and guided the graduate students to obtain 1 excellent doctoral thesis of water conservancy specialty in national universities and 1 excellent academic master's thesis in Jiangsu Province.
Mainly assisting the president in his work, responsible for undergraduate teaching, specialty construction, teaching practice base and teaching laboratory construction.
